Antonia is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is expected to graduate in May 2020.
For her honors thesis, she is examining cortisol in relation to sleep onset latency (SOL) in individuals with insomnia disorder, using electroencephalography (EEG).
Antonia worked for a few years in a housing facility for individuals with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. As such, she is interested in the treatment methods and outcomes of mental illnesses, and the ways in which we can measure these effects to better prognosis.
These interests transfer well to her current work at the SCN Lab in the Insomnia study.
