Her interest in sleep research started when she did a presentation about Human African trypanosomiasis (also known as sleeping sickness) during her Bachelor at Bordeaux. Then, she first got exposed to neurosciences at UQAM through an internship on learning and memory in mice.As her studies were only based on fundamental research, she wanted to be introduced to clinical research in sleep which is why she is currently investigating on predictors of the response of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia in the elderly during benzodiazepine withdrawal.
