Ophélia Fontaine

Master Student

I graduated from Université of Montréal in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Neurosciences. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Neurosciences at Université of Montréal under the supervision of Dr. Dang-Vu, where I am studying the beneficial effects of a rocking bed on sleep in the elderly.

I was first exposed to sleep research when I did my Bachelor’s internship under the supervision of Dr. Dang-Vu on the impaired alertness in subjects with chronic insomnia and idiopathic hypersomnia. I immediately loved the human sleep research field which is why I decided to pursue my studies in this direction.
